Summit list the Moog K7074 pitman to fit a 65 Valiant. Has anybody here used one on there car?

You need a castle nut and a cotter pin, so the nut don't turn. Snug nut for barring preload and then back off to first hole and put cotter pin in.

These work great. I have used them to bring up the rear many times.http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EXP-13120/ You will get about 2" of height. Could be a little more on an A body. Take about 2 or 3 hours.

You should be able to overcome the 1 3/8" difference by dropping it from 13.8" and letting it free full into the car. Its just a simple math equation I worked out.

Take fine die 1/2" I think. Out of your tap & die set and chase the threads. When you get the die to go easy forwards turn it over and chase it the other way. Tighten the nuts up so you can get the most threads.

I think they come that way. but not 100% sure. I think it is so they launch straight.
