I have ran it through the mufflers. It ran 8.teens in the 1/8 at about 5000 ft above sea level. Never ran the 1/4 with it. I didn’t know if it might run lean getting more air.

I have a 71 Duster with a 360 and full exhaust that has an X pipe. I am going to remove the pipes and run right out of the Hookers. My question is, will I have to change anything else? Jets, timing, ect?

Yes you can, that’s how I have done it for years. Just run 12 volts threw your button and down to the trans break and run the other wire off of the trans break to one side of the reverse switch and the other side to ground. On a three prong switch. I didn’t have BU lights.

I had a 383 with 11:1 compression, the octane booster didn’t keep it from pinging. I ran 110 in it but, didn’t drive it too much because of the cost.

11:1 compression might not be pump gas friendly.

65 Valiants have an inherent disability when it comes to carrying the front wheels farther than a few feet. So I think you should just sell me that little red Valiant and be done with such foolishness.
