modifying or making a set of headers is not that hard. making the not look like hammered dog sh#t is the hard part.

    My Love/Hate with making headers

not sure how much these big *** mufflers are going to help with the sound considering the pipe is only about 6' long. Space was limited and I think I may need a thermal barrier. Going to have to get creative with the floor behind the seats. WHY is every picture flipped into landscape??????

    My Love/Hate with making headers

Thats cool. They are like lego headers. I tried foam pipe wrap but this looks a lot better. Sadly not in my budget

Cut/reweld cheap headers for better fitment?

I don't know if it has been documented but it is not that hard to do. the only thing I think you would give up (or maybe gain) is keeping the tubes equal or near equal length. But I don't think you would notice a change either way if one or more tubes were slightly different.

    My Love/Hate with making headers

I buy the bends. I notice half way through that the long side of the J bend is slightly fatter than the rest of the pipe, my fault for buying the cheap bends. I also couldn't get 45s so that's more work. I already see that the #7 needs to be straightened out at the head. Now I need to decide if...

    My Love/Hate with making headers

I had a day with no kid or wife I got the hair up my *** to work on my headers. The love - using my creative side and enjoying some garage time The Hate - mocking them up about four times to see what tube paths will work. Having to finish the job with scraps because of the four mock ups...

I saw a pair of zoomies a guy posted on YB that went to a single rectangular exit that looked really good

    zoomies on n/a

I would not do zoomies. If you do run them on a na engine and dont mind the snickers you may want to get a cam with the needed changes to the exhaust side. I would just run shorties

Warlock Racing Muffler or Flowmaster Original 40 Series??

I would open up my selection. I have had 2 chamber flows in the past and would never put a chambered muffler on my car. Not that I didn't think they sounded cool back in the day but there are better sounding and flowing units on the market today. whoops didnt read that you had gotten your...

    exhaust from fender well

The biggest issue with Hooker fender well header is the ground clearance at the collector. I would just run the pipe down the door sill and cross over near the start of the rear clip.

    exhaust from fender well

Do you want the pipes to come out the back of the car?
