Wrong again the 440 rods are what make the 44o CID Taller bore smaller cylinders than a 400 ,+ 400 the bore size is 4.432 .. not 4.402 . If they make these kits "pistons and crate motors " they should no something about it.. PS u two should get a room .. stop showing us ur boobs...

Thanks but the tech guru at Hughes engines said with 400 B at 4.342 and the .060 over bore 440 rods 6.78 440 crank3.75 puts the cid at 473 cubics .. which is similar to the jenson piston site if you want more hp cubes go bigger n use a stroker kit like me.

Means after a .60 over bore cement in half the block to keep the cylinder walls from shacking or loosing compression , on 400 blocks the webs n outer of the blocks are thicker than any 440 ever built and can take a over bore up t0 . 60 the 71 72 400 even bigger overbore . Hope this helps ..
