The ones pictured above in iw378's pic are the ones needed for the vinyl top trim.. and on the sail panels there were 3 small machine screws that the trim clipped onto..

I should've clarified that in my last post.. I was just speaking of the rear glass.. but we did my front glass as you described, seal on the car, work the glass in... the rear was the opposite..

As for the extra material, the vinyl top I bought for my Dart had a good deal of excess that needed to be trimmed off. Seems like a waste of material, but that's just how they are

I agree.. it looks that way in those pics.. I would be willing to bet that it was their intention to put the stripe all the way around.. and did so for the promotional cars... I would also be willing to bet that they probably decided it was more trouble than it was worth and nixed the valance...

I do want to point out though (and Im sure you already know this) but regardless of what any of us think, in the end, its your car.. whatever you think looks good to you, gets a smile out of you, or feels right to you is the choice you should always go with.. I am sure there are people out there...

I voted top and stripe (but of course im WAY biased LOL) .. but I think with those wheels, stance, and color, shes still one sweet head turner..

In my case I thought the blacked out grille gave my Dart some attitude, but I also think it has a lot to do with the color of the car.. I like the way the grille looks on his car.. I am not a fan of the black wheels (at least not with that color... again.. color seems to make a huge differance)...

I would vote leave it alone as well.. I think it looks good... however, the grille on my Dart is blacked out much the way you describe.. so heres a shot of it to compare..
