    Assassin bar u-bolt plate bent

one 8-3/4 housing I had was narrowed to where the u-bolt sat on the "bearing housing"(?), and a u-bolt from a 4X4 was used along with elongating the holes in the plate.

early vs late k-frame bolt pattern

Mr. Sinister, that is a good dimension to know also but I'm looking for the center to center holes on one side of the k-frame. I think the ones you gave me are almost frame rail to frame rail centerline. but now I don't have to ask that question. Thanks! (any story on your car donation?)

early vs late k-frame bolt pattern

what is the center to center distance of where the k-frame bolts to the rails? this would be on the same side, front to back and not one frame rail to another. looking for the dimensions of the 63-66 cars and 67 to 76 cars. Thanks!

Upper control arm ball joint socket requirements

Snap-On sockets, 3/4" drive. from left to right: A-body small bolt pattern,#S6302;NOT for trucks, possibly A-body disc brakes and B & E-body,S9365B and the one for trucks,S9479A.

Upper control arm ball joint socket requirements

All A-bodies used small socket EXCEPT large bolt pattern disc brakes...and I believe this is the same for all B and E bodies(?). Trucks use another larger model. The rest? Someone, please correct this if incorrect. Thanks!

    PITMAN ARM CLEARING HEADERS

Had same headers in a 69, used solid mounts. The pitman arm was from a BB Dart. Grease fitting would drag on the header tube, after greasing I would take it out and put in an allen head set screw. It was flush with the surface of the arm. Great headers!

    Big ball joints

larger ball joints would work with B body spindles and disc brakes. if you keep the early A-body pieces and add the larger ball joints/control arms, you would have to ream the spindle for the ball joint stud to fit.
