    Free EFI...........

MSD has the Cap-Adapt for the small block Mopar, essentially putting a Ford cap on a Mopar distributor. So as far as being "stuck", unless the Frod distributor won't fit in the area it goes into, i.e., interference with the firewall, having the terminals spread out would be a plus.. less chance...

    What's the difference?

The air injector ports could be filled with some small allen head screws and epoxy.. and also probably filled in with Devcon or similar material. Some exhaust manifolds or headers may leave them uncovered and I'm not sure if that would cause any problems or not. Also thanks to Cudamark for...

    What's the difference?

http://omaha.craigslist.org/pts/2726991972.html You can't see the floor but this manifold is the one I was talking about.. I have one in my garage too. Doesn't even have the EGR jet pad cast into it.. not really a big deal either way.. can't make that much difference. Getting back to...

    What's the difference?

Correct me if I'm wrong but... the EGR ports in the heads... might also be considered the passage that flows exhaust gas under the carb pad to heat the intake. You could weld this shut in the heads.. or the intake..probably a bad idea in a cold climate. My 340 had them carboned shut and even...

    What's the difference?

Put an adapter on it to go from the square Holley pattern to the spreadbore pattern the manifold has. If you arent worried about exhaust heat in the manifold you can weld the egr passage shut or most gasket kits have a metal insert to plug them off... the removable plate on the topside of later...

    Edelbrock TR5

Trivial I know, but would it be a fair guess to say TM stood for Tarantula Manifold, one of Edelbrock's manifold series of the era? I'll bet an airgap RPM would kill either of these manifolds, but then, they cost more too! Use what you have at first....you can always switch later! alan627b

what do I need to do?

If you are not concerned with original appearance there are many bracket set ups that will work. If you want original appearance, here is a good source for accurate reproduction parts. http://www.hoffmanswinnerscircle.com/cat08.htm alan

what do I need to do?

First off, you'll need a Holley throttle lever extension, like this one here. http://www.shop.speedunlimited.com/Shop/Control/Product/fp/SFV/32401/vpid/4082455/vpcsid/0/rid/126429 The bracket that holds the kickdown linkage and accelerator cable is taller on 4V manifolds. If memory serves, it...

    600 CFM Holley on 273

600 cfm ought to be fine on a 273. Does the wrench say why it won't work? Too rich/lean, clashes with the interior? Unless it won't physically fit the intake, which an adapter would fix, what is the problem? Holleys usually require a throttle lever extension to hook to the kickdown linkage on...
