    Holley one barrel to hot...

Does the carb have the big flat heat shield between the carb and manifold like in these pics. If not I would make one from aluminum sheet, and install. Or you could put a want add in the parts wanted forum, for one. I don't have an extra. Also note how my gas line is routed, it is made from the...

Anyone have any experience, or have any knowledge of the new "Street Demon" carbs since the Holley take over of the brand, ??. I am thinking of going with a 625 CFM Street Demon, on my up comming LA 360 build. I havn't found much comment on them being used on SB mopars. The comments are for the...

I would check Summit, or Jegs, and try and match the GPM rating of your pump. They have lots of inline filters with replaceable elements. Dave

Need some help 1965 barracuda fuel tank

Lee R. is correct. 64-5-6 A bodies used one strap from side to side. 67 did also but the 67 straps wont fit (to long). Check your frame rails underneath, you should be able to see where the "T" on the strap fits in the rail. Opposite that is where the "J" hook goes. You need "one strap" for an...

    linkage issue

Go to a good Bicycle Shop(where they still fix bikes). By yourself a set of "Park Tool Cable Cutters". If no bike shop, you can probably get them on line, looking up Bicycle tools. They will cut cables clean as you can imagine. Then get yourself a few cable end ferrules, clamp them on your...

    Aluminum Fuel Cell/Tank crack repair

Use a drill bit no bigger that 1/8th in for the stop drill hole. I don't think J-B Weld will hold up either. Gas will continue to leach out after J-B Weld is applied thru the crack, and getting under the J-B Weld. Welding is better, or a new tank. Dave

    Another gas tank question

When you drop the tank ( all fire hazard saftey precautions taken), if there is an old tar paper pad there, use it for a template. I made a new one from rubber floor matting from the local hardware store. The floor matting will take up abaision and chaffing noise as stated above. It will also...
