I seem to remember the studs on my '68 were long enough to thread 2 more nuts on the stud and lock them together by tightening one against the other, then hold with one wrench and tighten/loosen the grill nuts.

The door window has a metal frame portion on the rear vertical edge. The frame is glued to the glass. The frame has a rubber seal/weatherstrip attached to it to seal the front window to the quarter window when both are closed. Anybody know what this seal/weatherstrip is called, and where I can...

Purple Haze had the ticket. These are 3/8-16 soft steel bolts with a pressed on stainless cap; good for only 20 ft-lb. I replaced them with solid 18-8 stainless carriage bolts, also only good for about 20 ft-lb. Thanks for help.

Anyone know the correct torque for the bumper-to-mounting bracket bolts for '68 Barracuda? I was re-installing my repaired bumper, got to about 25 ft-lb and the head snapped off the first bolt. These are the round-head bolts that fit into the square hole in the bumper. Thanks
