Just reading about MSD and pacemakers. There is talk about RF (MSD) problems with them as well. Maybe this is a good lesson for others? It sucks for my antenna.....

Yes, cam timing. I'm using the big block offset kit. They make things easy. I average around 14" at idle in gear (750 rpm) and 19-22" lite throttle on highway at 3500 rpm with that valve lash.

Car runs strong now. Took a summer to get dialed in. 68 rag 15.3 sec 1/4 . 3:91, 904, 3000 stall, Holley 600, 5900 redline.

I set up .002 bigger cold. I will say this, that cam if not checked, will eat cam bearings ( keep an eye on the rocker oiling) Also if you can , check the advance. Had to go 6 deg on an offset button to get the motor to run properly.

i have the same cam. I run it 15-16. Cam card said 16-18. Good luck.

I got a Raso kit . Used it on my 225 with an Offy and Clifford short headers. Parts were cheap to buy, came with all hardware. I used 2- 3\8 nipples and 2- 90 s. I used standard heater hose. Fit was perfect. I used silicone to seal it up. Don't bother with the silicone hose they sell, you have...

any one experiment with big block exhaust valves as intake valves on a slant head? They are a bit longer than the slant , nothing a quick grind cant fix. thanks in advance.

Hi , Got a 75,000 225 slant in a 68 rag Dart GT. Replaced all rad hoses this year and all was good. Car has 3:21 gears and 26" tire so 3200 rpm keeps up on the highway. I have found the car gets hotter the more rpm. 160 deg thermostat and new rad cap. The new lower rad hose came without spring...
