Yep as mentioned already you cant expect it to match with brushing it on.
use spray out cards and play with air pressure and distance to try to get it closer.
A new sharp utility knife blade should get the job done use some soapy water and spray on the windshield then use the razor blade. I wouldn’t recommend using a scuff pad it will scratch the glass and make it hazy.
There’s a few more differences between 67’ and 68’ than the marker light holes. Like the attachment points of the headlight bezels and the antenna hole and the side barracuda scripts.
67’-69’ notchback and convertible are basically the same so yea you could use the parts from the three years with exception of the quarter panels having marker light differences or lack there of but that could be corrected. Also obviously there wouldn’t be sail panels on a convertible. I’m not...
