Wrong wrong wrong. If he had used friends and family , the guy could've never taken the money back in the first place.

Even if he signs a receipt saying he picked it up PayPal will not honor it. It has to absolutely be shipped with a reputable company and a tracking number for them to honor it. If somebody is coming to pick something up friends and family is the absolute only way to except PayPal

The bigger problem is here in CA, EVERY DAMN COUNTY has a different tax rate !! Going to be a nightmare for me selling on Ebay I bet .

In the machine shop that I bought there was an old snack pack pudding in a drawer. It was marked 1977. All steel container with a pull-top lid. Being young ,dumb ,and a lover pudding , I opened it and ate it, LOL. It actually tasted pretty damn good and I'm still alive 20 years later.

Standard practice if you sell alot on Ebay. The guy is out of stock so he raises the price super high so he does not lose the ad. If he were to pull the ad and not get stock before two weeks Ebay erases the ad .

I don't know where you were looking but here is EBay's fee calculator . Do the math it is 10% ( you can earn the 2% discount for Top Rated Plus) . http://www.fees.ebay.com/feeweb/feecalculator

I have been selling on Ebay for 12 years , fees are not 20% . The fee is 10% but will be offset by 2% if you ship in one day and abide by a few other rules . Paypal will take another 2.75% but if you set-up with their CC they kick back 1.5% with every purchase . How else are you going to get...
