    if all else fails, you can test the MC by removing the lines and installing plugs in the two connections. Then press the brake pedal and see if it is firm, or if it slowly goes down. If it goes down, you have a bad MC.

    check your adjusters to make sure they are working, and check how much meat is left on the shoes - they will cause a low pedal. Re-bleed just to make sure there's no air in the system. Most likely NOT the MC at fault, IMO.

    Can't recall exacly how the A-bodies are set up, but can you bend the bracket toward the brake pedal enough to make contact?

    BTW - no clue how to know if the adjustable proportioning valve is adjusted right. Quite frankly, I haven't even been able to drive the thing confidently to adjust it. Could this affect my ability to bleed the system properly?
