    Guns, Dogs and Blades QnA

We have had cats growing up. One we had for 16 years. But I really wasn’t bothered when we put them down. It’s going to be different with the dog though.

    Guns, Dogs and Blades QnA

I never had a dog until I started dating my wife. She got him the week after we meet. He’s been around for almost 6 years and I don’t know how I’m doing to handle it when he goes. If it’s anything like losing a loved one then time is the only thing that will help.

    Guns, Dogs and Blades QnA

I avoid places like that. Most outdoor ranges are just stand and shoot or have benches. They are pretty much only good for shooting rifles or sighting in. If I’m looking for a place to run drills or do any sort of training then I need to be able to position targets where I want and I need to...

Wife always gives me a hard time for carrying at home. If someone comes to the door I’m not walking to the bedroom. I REALLY need to take a class though.

    Guns, Dogs and Blades QnA

I came REAL close to buying a 110 Hunter. I was sitting in my blind during deer season going back and fourth between it and building an AR. I went with the AR but the Savage looked nice.

    Guns, Dogs and Blades QnA

Their glass on anything besides their top of the line models is complete trash. I hunted with a Vortex Crossfire on it last deer season and it was very comparable to me taking my glasses off. When I was buying a scope the next month I went to the store and looked through a Vortex then through a...

    Guns, Dogs and Blades QnA

Head over to the AR Facebook groups and hold in your vomit. People are throwing sight marks and Vortex glass on all kinds of rifles. What’s more funny is how people are mounting them. People bridge their optics or they mount them as far back as possible. They want their eye to be on the glass...

Stupid question but I’d the weight. Of that ice ever a concern when it’s against the house?

That NF may have cost more than what I paid for my Dart in 2005. Glass is the best place to spend the money though.

Jumper cables? Nah....there is a newer better solution.

Not many folks willing to help strangers anymore so I certainly see the advantage of this over traditional cables.

I’m going to be in the market for a new daily soon and I’ve been kicking around the idea of a charger or 300. I need 4 doors but I average 30k miles a year and need all the reliability and gas milage I can get.

Unpopular opinion. I'm so frustrated I hate car shows/cruises.

I can understand if you don’t have a track nearby. I’m lucky enough to have 3 within an hour. If you go to a big dollar race (heads up or bracket) you will see cars that are cleaner than half the cars at shows.

Take him to a race track. As soon as I was old enough to drive I left my dad at the shows and cruises and spent my weekends at the race track.

    Favorite Family Heirlooms

I’m still pretty young and do my tithing but when I get older I’ll be setting aside funds for the church for when I pass. My dad gifted my a Buck 110 and a Remington 870 when I turned 12. I went out and bought a 110 before my son was born and already have a spare 870 he will use but I always...

    Favorite Family Heirlooms

My wife and I recently had our first child and it got me excited to pass some things along to him. Of course he will get some guns and knives but I was curious about what other things people have that they really cherish.

    Secret second hobbies

The only “hobbies” I have stayed with my entire life are hunting and cars. I was big into climbing for ten years and I’ll still go to the gym every once in a while. Guns also come and go.

How successful were you in loosing weight question?

I avoid fast food all together besides a Chick-fil-A salad. Other than that, fast food isn’t worth the calories.
