Any idea how to remove dark spots from paint? This is the original paint on my 73 Dart. I’ve tried buffing and regular washing.

Only other option is a big vintage pro stock hood or a cowl hood.

The hood will be getting changed out of necessity. My engine sits high due to my Schumacher mounts and when I use a 2.5” air cleaner on a Holley the air cleaner hits the hood. Plus I would like to be able to run a spacer down the road. I could go with an old school pro stock style but it...

It likely will not be for a while if I do. I have one nasty dent up near the front of my drivers side fender. If it does not come out then I'll go with those fenders.

Why would they label them sport? I thought finders for all darts were the same?

I've been looking for some fiberglass fenders for my dart and I can not find anything online that is later than 72. Do they even make them?

I can honestly say I don't have any thing I wish I would have kept. I've only owned my dart for 12 years and it's the first car I ever owned. I've sold the original drive train but that was slant six stuff. Everything from v8 over the years is still on the self.

There were no sheet metal panels covering anything to my knowledge. Where is this rusted piece at?

I would have but this was a job that I didn't have a choice on. It needed to be done and I was the only one here to do the job. It's getting replaced soon but in the mean time I needed it to hold water.

I'm going to start by sayying this is my first time using body filler. I had a bathtub rust out at work and I do not have the time or money to replace it so I sanded down the area and put some body filler on it. This was 24 hours ago and it is still not hardened yet. The stuff is pretty old...

I was going to do this with my 73 and decided a painted nose looks the best even though your sort of pretending to be a older car!

It's been a while since I saw some good old FABO drama. I like the wide body look. Something new in a scene filled with the typical hot rod look. I welcome the pro touring look but i can't afford it and am still partial to the old school look.

I saw alot of pro mod daytonas at Indy last weekend. Why not get one of those body's and slap a dart badge on the side.

I just put the Performer RPM on my 360 dart and the hood will not close. If you do go with a drop base and are running a eddie carb then make sure you get the banjo fitting for the fuel line or else the drop base will hit. I just decided to take my hood off since I was only driving around...

yea I like the prostock hood alot on the dusters but not the darts.

Its time to get a new hood or put a scoop on it. The car is a 73 swinger and am stuck between the six pack hood and the Hemi s/s hood. Pics of these hoods on 73 and up dart and dusters would help. Which one is best?

I like the thicker stripes honestly but that doesn't look bad at all to me.

I was wondering if a hood off a 2nd gen. fish would work on a 73 and later dark. I noticed they both have the hump in the middle and look a lot alike.
