Good suggestion, I borrowed the one off the roadrunner and we put the trunk lid on. I will post a picture when I take the lid back off. I wish I would of had the forethought to take a picture.

I had my hinges rebuilt by Mopar Leo, he did a great job!

That make sense, we are converting to a cable, so I don’t need it. We welded up the holes a couple of years ago, I have crap for brains. Thanks for the answer

Getting Rid of the Hood Torsion Springs on the Early A-Body Here is an option, not all want to change the original, I did. I believe this is a cleaner look. Some have also put even more modern hydraulic struts,there are a couple of posts showing how they did it.

Here is a complete dash, it has a couple of non original knobs for a/c and we removed the fan and heater control levers.

My 66 dart is getting closer to being completed , I just rectified one of my changes by putting bucket seats in. The one thing I should of done is mini tubs. We did sub frame connectors and moved the springs in. Should of taken the extra step of mini tubbing it.

Just to update this thread, the nut size is actually 1/2” with 28 threads per inch.
