Well, a friend and I tore the 440 down yesterday. Looks really good! Ill get the block cleand up first of the year and taken to a shop to check the cylinders for taper. Head gaskets looked great, didn't find anything really wrong.

I'm hoping I can leave it at .030 but won't know till I get into it....

True, and the cool thing about that is I'm learning Ultrasonic testing at work. So that is something I can do.

I know this is more of a 4 speed question but it pertains to my 440 4 speed swap: My 67 Barracuda is a /6 3 speed manual, when I go to do the swap will I need a special z bar or will the one on it work? I will be running headers of some sort, if that matters.... Thanks, Dennis.
