I couldn't bring myself to start cuttin' on a mopar that nice, if it were a street car only maybe, it's your car you can do what ya like, hit one slick patch on the track in a 10-second car and you'll probably be draging it home on a rollback in pieces, theres a reason they require a roll cage...

That's cool, would like to see it, Pontiac built some sweet old cars... I knew a guy that would buy a new GT mustang about every 3 or 4 years, he just used it to drag race then when he traded it in the car was a SUPER LOW mile trade in, kinda smart when ya think about it...

'78- early 80's GM G-bodys had like 15x4 spare tire wheel rims, if you could redrill your rotors or use the outter rim part, I sold a couple of those 15x4 rims to a rat rod dude on ebay for $150.00 a few years back..

That's what I was thinking.. I would have put the Cuda back 100% Org just like when Elvis bought it and got a personalized plate that said "KING-CUDA"..

I think if a car has a real history, drag or whatever, that it should be left that way.. I saw a '71 Cuda on ebay some time back that was claimed to have been bought by Elvis new (they had a lot of paper work on it), the person who owned it tryed to make a resto-mod out of it.. :roll:

I really don't understand the purist logic, "EVERYTHING HAS TO BE DONE BY THE MOPAR BIBLE OR IT'S WRONG".. Where are these purist when guys are sticking 18-19 inch rims on an old mopar?? Those rims look STUPID on an old mopar in my opinion, but I don't knock the guys that do it, it's their car...

Hot rods back in the day were dirt cheap around here, 1,000 bucks would get ya about any muscle car you wanted..

Just bolt them on, try and get the rubber snubber as close to the front spring eye as you can and tighen them down, there not real drag racing t-bars so to shim/adjust them you would have to really know what you're doing..
