I have a '66 Signet with a slant. Found a nice V8 motor and trans... is it plausible to keep power steering and power brakes with a V8? Or is that just a no-go? I heard it won't all fit.....

So; my torsion bar carrier ripped outta my K frame on the passenger side. I figure it's a sign that I should just do the swap. I have a '66 signet with a 225/904 stock, manual drum brakes, console floor shifter. What will I need to swap up to a Stock V8 setup? Anyone have a complete list? FWIW...

I just picked up a rear defroster for my Signet. The blower is mounted in a 6X9 speaker position! Lucky my rear deck has space for three... so anyone got docs to show me how to install my defroster in my Signet?

Wow! A lot to cover there! OK so here's what the '66 has now: -Rebuilt carb (total reman., by a great shop here in Richmond, CA) -MSD 6AL, along with complete replacement of all ignition parts just the other day (with the 6AL, it's smoooooth) -Gutted, fully gone-through rear diff. and brakes...

Hey for what it's worth, you can buy several types of super-bright LED light strips on Ebay that are not tough to wire for 12v. With two or three strips glued (sandwiched) together, you could get more effective use of your lens real estate..... this applies to both taillights and markers. :)

My Signet has a really strong /6 225 904 PS Manual drums, SBP. Sold her last year, but then bought the car back from the guy! After a full tune-up I find that the car's as eager as ever to hit the road. I gotta do some things first, so I'd love some points towards reputable sellers/good deals...

II have a 66 SBP signet, want to install SBP discs to replace my awful drums. Will it be a pretty straight forward swap if I have all the components at hand? Thanks! (quick question, hoping for a quick answer so I can go buy it!)
