I have come across 5 with the 6"s but none with the v8 so far....and the convertible is a Signet 100 with the 273 motor. I have written into the historical society with no replies.....

I have been able to find there were 2507 1966 Valiant Signet 100 convertibles made, however I am unable to find out how man were v8 like mine.....from talk a lot of people tell me there were mostly 6's and not 8ts but would love to find out somehow...I was made in 66 too...thanks guys !!

Just as a side note....I really need to have the motor worked on....it smokes so much people get in the other lane when they are driving behind me, haha....a true mosquito control vehicle....rus well, motor sounds great but it smokes so much that when it warms up I think it is half diesel haha

it have been driving it about a mile to the home I am working so many hours on to rebuild....driving with one old 13 on the front left.....no weights hitting on the other tires for sure

took left front wheel off and put on one of the old 13s ..I do feel the wiggle on all four tires one of the previous posters mentioned but the left front wheel or tire is the problem for sure....ran gloves over the tire and treads and looked it over and tire looks and feel fine---rim looks...

This shows the old tires that came with the rims - the pictured tires are now tossed out.....I have new 195/70/14 tires on now....no dings nor dents on rims just some age

Ok, will take off the tires and have them rebalance checked....tires are two days old, will also take them to be rebalanced......any other thoughts with this info and rim picture?...the originals were steel hub cap 13's
