    Modify a b body by moving the perches in .5 inches. That will help keep the cost way down. Just increase the backspacing on the wheels to compensate I did it on my 67 barracuda and it worked great. The whole thing was less than $200. Welded it myself.

    U-joints will fail if there is any chance that your symmetry is out. It only takes one dry cap and it will make a hell of a racket new joints and balancing run about $150 well worth the trouble.

    I had to buy the whole car, 66 barracuda, it had 3.23 suregrip 489 case and sbp axles paid $800 for the car pulled the rearend put the 7.25 I had back under it and sold the car for 800. So look around you may get lucky.

    I believe this may be the problem, sheared off half the pump drive housing. I have a spare, don't know anything about it, here goes nothing.

    Speedometer Gear

    Tip, in an automatic trans count the number of teeth on the gear you have. next there is a series of numbers on the outer housing that bolts to the case. orient the corresponding number group in the top upright position. this should calibrate your Speedo within a couple mph I hops this helps.

    The 904 in now leaks out the bellhousing very bad about a quart in 20 min. The converter I have has no drain plugs and I am unsure of its origin I will be installing a used trans from a 74 scamp 318 car. I will be selling the car soon should I keep the converter?

    7260 U-Joint girdle???

    I got the Moroso unit from Jegs. I believe there or only 2 sizes, for the 2 sizes of u joints mopar makes. It looked a little small but it fit perfect. Moroso 85850, CTC 1.505 Cap Dia.1.0625 Item# 710-85850 This is for the 8.75 w/ small yoke. 489 case.

    7260 U-Joint girdle???

    I had the same question for my 65 cuda 340. It kept loosening up. I put the girdle on last summer, havent had a problem since. You will need to drill through the rear yoke with the supplied bolts, pretty good setup.
