You can substitute any prevailing torque flange nut and get the same result... McMaster-Carr Prevailing torque nuts have some interference with the threads (accomplished many different ways/styles) and prevent the nut from loosening with vibration... They can put a nylon insert in the nut...

Rear gear ratio was 2.76... stock size tires... The Barracuda that I used to tow did not have a sway bar, but at least one of the ones I towed did and some others that I towed did not... (Your question was to vague...)

I've pulled 67 Barracudas with another 67 Barracuda.... My Barracuda had a small block... As long as your engine has enough power, which it should with all of the mods, you should be able to pull the trailer you are talking about.... Make sure you have a good trailer hitch that attaches...
