Thanks. I had to wrap the bulb in duct tape, I was putting excessive pressure on it. Last time I had the problem, the bulb scattered and sliced my thumb open. A little late to the lubricant party.

Thanks. I noticed that there is play in the pedal that allows me to pull it toward me to better engage the switch. I'm wondering if it should always come back up fully and if it isn't, like in my case, is there a spring somewhere in the mechanism that needs replacing.

Is the limiter built into the gauge on the Dart?

Try grounding the sending unit with a wire to the frame. If that doesn't work, odds are it's the voltage limiter which I believe is built into the gauge. It's built in on the 69 Barracuda.

Just got back from a beautiful fall drive in eastern PA with the top down! However, I noticed my oil pressure gauge was jumping to H for a while and then it would go back to it's usual position. What would cause this?

When I was driving out to Carlisle I noticed my speedometer was bouncing. I also passed one of those digital speeding readouts and noticed about a 5mph difference between me and the readout. Is this an indication of a bad speedo cable?
