What stuff have you found in your cars from previous owners?

In the barracuda not nearly as much as I would have expected as the PO was the original owner so it had seen a lot of time/miles, 28 Pens 1 Steak Knife 1 AAA Membership from 1971 1 Notebook with random schematics, (PO was an Electrical Engineer) oh and a street sign instead of a drivers side...

    Everyone chime in !

Scamps have always looked good to me for some reason I like the earlier ones more 70-72, but even the beaks are growing on me, however I recently was lucky enough to pick up the A-Body I always wanted 68 FB Barracuda

    Turn signal wont cancel question

Definitely worth it and honestly probably less of a hassle then doing the whole switch. I have large fingers so working with the short wires to solder and such was just a bit of a hassle. Didn't mean to make it sound horrible.

Nice work Sedanman, old car guys are hit and miss but it seems like this site sure has the majority with the right intentions.

    A body grill (?)

I think so, the green brick which is a 69 valiant has a shark tooth grill in it

ebay dart for sale looks good to me

That 66 is almost 10 grand and no interior shots, and rust on the rear quarters, seems a bit pricey to me for an early a body. The 68 if everything really is there doesn't seem too bad on the other hand

    Powder Coating Suspension

Getting ready to have my UCA's, LCA's, and Strut Rods sent in to powder coat. For those who have done this what parts do you make sure do not recieve powder coating? Is it just the threads I should worry about or should I make sure they steer clear of where the bushing press in as well...

    1967 Barracuda hood letters

Include my 68. My car did take a front shot early in its life so it may be that at the time replacement panels did not come pre-drilled and body shops did not care to fool with it.

    1967 Barracuda hood letters

Off and on topic, I have a 68 and I am certain the doors are the ones that came with it, however they have the 67 door vents on the bottom. The car was ordered in March of 68 so it wouldn't be an early version. Has anyone else seen this?

    Restore or Restomod

Either way is going to be a cool car. I am in a similar situation in my car, and I have decided since I bought it from the original owner and the car has been together for as long as it has that I am just going to bring it back to its former glory. However, it will be getting an intake and 4...

    RockAuto Problems

It's an arguable charge, they sent me the wrong part one time, the lug nuts instead of the studs. I called and they said to pay to ship them and if in fact they made a mistake they would reimburse me. I said that's BS and then wrote and email. They quickly responded with keep the lug nuts the...

    1969 Cuda A57 4 speed Whats it worth ?

Thats the truth, if you don't plan to flip its worth what you want to put into it, and understand you probably won't get it back. The 2 quotes for 7000 are probably realistic for someone who is buying it site unseen which we are essentially doing. Also Hagerty I find to quote a little on the...

    1969 Cuda A57 4 speed Whats it worth ?

The fact that it's an A57 "slick back" car makes it probably a low number production vehicle. I bought my 68 because it's a one owner with lots of documentation, and special order vehicle with some fun options. I probably paid more then most would for it but I love it and think I got a good...

    Ignorant College Student--Need Advice!

This is the best advice, this is what I did to my 65 and I ended up getting out of it a fraction ahead of what I had in. Elbow grease can go a long way to make a car more appealing. Imagine being at a car show where there is a very rare mach 2 sunbeam tiger and everyone is looking at the not...
