I put a Retrosound in my ‘66 Bug and I love it. Granted it’s only a shaft radio and not a more complex thumbwheel Redondo. One big negative about my Retrosound is that it drains the battery within a couple of days.

I’ve got that trim on my A/C vents that I purchased from a guy in Colorado. I’m not close to my car but will post a picture when I can. I installed the vents in my ‘69 Dart and think the vents look unfinished without the trim.

The ‘68 pad under the A/C vents really finishes the ducts off nicely. It looks way better with the pad then without. Without that pad under the vents looks like it’s unfinished.

This is the 2864514 which makes sense as on higher level cars have the dash trim on the glovebox. Funny thing is that this bezel is a 3 hole mount surrounding the radio too.
