    1965 DART NO HOOD/ FENDERS/BUMPER/THE LOOK

I personally love that sort of thing, but there's nothing "gasser" about it. Gas class rules always called for fenders and hood. Do it, but leave the windows out a well. It'll be more cohesive that way.

    K-member drop details

In over 40 years of dropping engines into Mopars, I have never once removed a hood. The distance between the core support and fully opened hood is exactly enough to get a fully dressed engine through. It's designed that way

    K-member drop details

For just a simple engine swap, doing it this way adds a ton of unnecessary steps and complications.

    Aftermarket MC brake issues

One common issue that gives the identical problem is using FMJ Calipers on the earlier A/B/E style stands. The bleed screws end up oriented so that there is always an air pocket in the caliper.

    1962 valiant shifter change

Oh, I know the shifter setup well..actually just pieced one together for a customer this last summer. It was the interchangeability of the bell/starter/flywheel between 61 and 62 I was not sure of

    1962 valiant shifter change

Yeah, if your original starter bolts to this bell with no issues, then your original flywheel will be fine. I only brought it up, because nobody else mentioned it in the thread, and I myself didn't know if the bells were interchangeable

    1962 valiant shifter change

Your setup looks great, but make sure the your starter/flywheel is compatible with your bell housing. 61 used a direct drive starter and flywheel with a different tooth count than the 62,.which used the more common gear reduction unit. Not sure if the bell is interchangeable between the two...

    /6 to 273

The NEED for a centerlink is debatable. With a standard oil pan, on stock mounts, the slant centerlink actually does clear by a hair. The only issue I can see is in R&Ring the trans. You have to drop the idler arm to get everything to drop down out of the tunnel.

Mystery vibration at 25 mph can't be diagnosed. It's not the front end!

Going good. We just turned out a Supercharged Slant Valiant and are just getting rolling on a Stroker BB 67 Cuda.

Mystery vibration at 25 mph can't be diagnosed. It's not the front end!

B&T joints are actually very easy to service once you know how to do it, providing the wear is in the rollers and not in the body itself. One catch is that replacement boots are nearly completely extinct. Quick, cheap trick is to use a boot from an off-road style aftermarket shock absorber...

Does this car have a usable part on it?

How about the manual steering box that goes with it, for $100. Usable turn signal switch? $40 The top and bottom floor shift colars would fetch an instant $60-75, and still leave you with the manual shaft. Manual coupler, $25 That car is pure gold

Does this car have a usable part on it?

Pic from the car in that ad. Most guys look at that and see a crunched door and would probably just toss it. Somebody who knows the market sees: Twin Post mirror, between $40 and $75 Door handle $20-40 Early Lock cylinder $20 Vent Frame $30-$75 Vent Window $25 Door Latch and Linkage $40 Window...

Does this car have a usable part on it?

I have a lot/shop that is already packed with a dozen parts cars...if I had the room for that one, it would be on it's way right now. BUT...that one looks like it could be a good save. I would probably throw a few parts at it and flip as is

Does this car have a usable part on it?

Already picking away at that exact car right now. Made that on it with plenty to go. When I part one out, there's nothing left that you can't sweep into a garbage bag and leave at the curb

Does this car have a usable part on it?

You guys are kidding, right? I could turn that car into between eight and ten grand over the course of a year. Every single nut, bolt, bracket and scrap of unrusted metal has a home waiting for it somewhere
