    Fuel Sump info or pics

Well, I'm kinda glad to say that I'm having a fuel pickup issue when I launch the car with anything under a half a tank it just runs away from the stock pickup and the car falls off then a moment later it picks back up. Since I am unempoyed a new fuel cell is kinda out of budget for now. So I'm...

    pump cam specs

Hi, I'm going to be at the track soon and I need to know how the different Holley pump cams rank as to which is the most "aggressive". Right now my carb has the pink one which I think is the least harsh cam, I've always ran my pump cams in the #1 hole if that helps. Thanks much.

    Summit Carbs

Haven't used one but I look at it like this, there's a reason Holley put an end to that design. And in my personal experience with a performance build the carburetor is no place to cheap out, when you do it will haunt you forever. Just my .02

Here's how I roll.Stock tank, filter, Holley blue pump, 1/2" line, regulator on passenger fender well, -8AN line arched over to front of carb and -8AN inlet. I put a -6AN fitting in the rear of the regulator and send fuel to the NOS fuel solenoid8). . . now we are having fun gentlemen. P.S...

    650 or 750 cfm. carb??

Eveyrone's had bad experiences with Holley's lol but once you've got them sorted out they seem to offer much better performance than an edelbrock. I've got a 750 vac on my very stock 360 and it works good, I've had 750DP's on it before as well as 650DP's(it hated the 650) I think I'm going to...

    HELP!!! too rich at idle

This carb does have removable air bleeds and in park it idles right about 900rpm or so. If somebody could tell me more about the idle feed restrictors I would really appreciate it. At idle the fuel is at the bottom of the sight plug on the fuel bowl. The only light I see through the secondary...

    HELP!!! too rich at idle

Just so I got this straight, will lowering the power valve lein it out? The carb came new with a 4.5pv in it which was changed and I don't have it, would too high of a PV cause the idle screws to not function properly? Thanks much, bare with me, I'm young and carbs are confusing

    HELP!!! too rich at idle

At idle in park (I was alone) I have 15 inches of vacuum, the power valve is a 6.5 ( I tried an 8.5 also and now have a 7.5 for it) I have no clue on fuel pressure but it's a mechanical pump with stock fuel lines and tank. My float levels are dead on right at the very bottom of the hole. I'm...

    HELP!!! too rich at idle

I've just purchased a 6 month old 750cfm Proform double pumper carb for my duster, it's got billet metering blocks with 4 corner idle screws and a billet baseplate. This carb is sweet! My only problem is that it's way to rich at idle, so rich it smokes and reeks of fuel. My Idle mixture screws...

    Offenhauser 5489 Intake

I don't think you'll have to worry about bolt holes to swap it over, my understanding has always been an LA is an LA. I think even with the 318 ports it will perform better with the right sized 4bbl but to take full advantage open the ports up a lil bit.

    Edelbrock Performer RPM

Thanks guys, now I just got to find an LD340 or talk a guy I know out of his. I got into a small argument with a vendor at a swap meet this weekend, he clained an LD4B is the same identical intake to an LD340 and Edelbrock cast it with different letters to sell more, I think he's paranoid or he...

    Edelbrock Performer RPM

What are anyones opinions on an edde Performer RPM(EDL 7176) In comparison to say an Edelbrock LD340 or maybe the Edelbrock Air Gap intakes?? I know a lot of people are in love with the Air Gap and I likd the design of it too but I'm on one serious budget and that intake hasn't exactly hit the...

Cold air / ram air into a carb

I'm working on building an air tray under my scoop, it uses a square filter that measures like 10"x14" right under the scoop, had to get a lil creative due to the engine being offset one way but that's why right now it's just cardboard

    proform carb anyone?

a friend of mine has a 750 double pumper on his chebby, he doesn't have any problems with it at all, I'd almost think your crate 360 would like a 750 but it's hard to say, wait I'll check the MP catalog. . . .(running upstairs). . . It says Mopar suggests the use of a 750cfm Holley carburetor...
