No 6000 rpm launches with the trailer behind you !! Install a large tranny cooler to make sure the fluid stays cool. Change rear end lube for peace of mind. No 130 mph towing and it should be ok. Don't ask....

Engine flushes have a tendency to loosen up a lot of crud which later breaks off and gets into the oil and run thru the bearings and stuff. Would you flush this engine...??

Sounds like an internal tranny issue. Possibly trying to engage drive and reverse at the same time. Could be the rear clutch is not disengaging in reverse...I am no expert (or even a newbie) on them as it has been 35 years since I have messed with T/F internals. We need a T/F expert...

Recycling oil has a few different meanings. Take it out of 1 vehicle and place it in another. Or recycle it where they filter it, clean it and add new additives to it. My ex's version..just add it to keep it on the full mark.....
