66 Cuda rear quarter window help

Mine will not be freed by lubing in any way shape or form. The L side regulator is froze solid where as the R regulator has bent. Even under the best conditions it looks like all the guides need to be removed before the regulator can be removed. The alignment process in the manual doesn't look...

66 Cuda rear quarter window help

I was just looking at the 1966 Plymouth service manual and I think I need to remove all the channels and guides first, then the regulator comes out last? Reverse for installation. Can someone who has done this before verify that for me?

66 Cuda rear quarter window help

As the title says. I need some advice. My rear quarter window regulators are froze and I have not figured out how to remove them in their current state. I have good replacements so if I need to destroy them to get them removed so be it. Basically any advice on how to get them out would be...

66 barracuda variable speed wiper question

Sounds like at the very least the switch may be shorting internally but that motor may be drawing extra amps causing the switch assy to over heat and short. It's not uncommon for the plugs to melt and deform on those switches so be sure to give it a good look over.

    I screwed up didn't I ??

I Like the plate you made to install the relays for the head lights. I had intended on doing the same mod but after seeing how you did it I think I'm going to do it the same way.

    I screwed up didn't I ??

Thanks for all the kind words on how it looks. Unfortunately the flip side is the military in me is kicking in and I want it to be perfect........keeping focus on the original plan & making a clean driver gets hard when the military mind set kicks in. lol

    I screwed up didn't I ??

I know, it was a cheap 2.50 part to at least get something in there. I'll get a metal one in the when it's time to fire it up.:thumrigh:

    I screwed up didn't I ??

Yeah, I figured as much. I didn't really think about the 6 and more weight being on the passenger side. I've got a long way to go here before I get it set up and ready for alignment. I'm pretty happy to have the engine back in it though. Definately a step in the right direction!

    I screwed up didn't I ??

The blue is 2003 ford Desert Sky Blue (CZ) I have tried to take pictures but it looks washed out whether I use the flash or not. It also has a very fine silver metalic in it that looks pretty good when the sun is on it. I'll get a few more pictures up tomorrow I've got stuff on back...

    I screwed up didn't I ??

Went out and threw the manifolds on and added the battery, did a little cranking on the adjuster screws and feel better about the stance now. I guess it threw me for a loop initially but looks like it's going to be good to go! Thanks for the help.

    I screwed up didn't I ??

Ok, so I got the engine dropped in tonight. No to bad,... a couple scuffs on the firewall. Guess I can handle that. Here is the issue, The car isnt sitting right. The drivers side is high and the suspension is pretty tight with very little droop while the passenger side has plenty of droop...

    What is this?

Yeah, I'm leaning towards this as well, but I'll throw it in a zip lock bag and hang on to it. I havn't had the headliner apart yet so I couldnt comment on the retainer clips? This car has been anything but normal, I found the engine bay build tag inside the driver door? Never a dull moment...

    What is this?

Loom for the harness makes sense to me, just wonder where it belongs. It's no show stopper but I'm curious and just want to know where it goes?
  26. yooper822

    What is this?

It's pretty small. I don't even know if it belongs I have never seen one of these before but figured I'd better hang on to it just in case?

    What is this?

    floor pans repair

I got a complete floor from Wildcat auto : http://www.wildcatmopars.com/ Wasn't cheap but it was solid. Drilled out the factory spot welds and pealed the old floor out. Don't envy you, I've been there done that.

    Cowl repair start

I've never seen one opened up that was clean.....It doesn't look like the factory did much to preserve this area out of the box?
