    Do I need the dust boot....

    The 904 trans in my '67 Dart has the rubber dust boot on the end of the tailshaft, covering some of the slip yoke. Is that dust boot actually required, and is there another seal inside the tailshaft? Can I remove the dust boot part without causing any damage anywhere? Thanks all.

    Convertor bushing

    Anyone home-make one of those bushings that convert the old '67-down small pilot torque convertors for use with a '68-up crankshaft? Seems to be just a piece of aluminum pipe with specific dimensions....and costs $35????? Gotta be a cheaper way....
