    Need Advice Park Lock Cable PLZ

    '65 Dart 273/904 1st : I always had manuals and don't know jack about autos. Freshly rebuilt trans was given back with, " Oh yea, where the park lock cable enters the trans...it's leaking; that'll be $***, see ya." That is an on-going issue so nuff said. I called A & A Trans, explained...

    Fresh Rebuilt 904 locked up

    Fresh rebuilds on 65 engine and 904 ( Console shifter, dual cable ). Problem with intake gasket so towed to shop next to machinist. Can't seen to get trans out of park ( assumed in park ). Tried various shifter positions and rocking but no go. Any ideas or anyone ever have similar problem ? THX

    Am I SOL on 8.75

    Got the "new" 68 8.75 torn down and after draining the housing noticed metal shavings then did some yoke rotating. Is this just an adjustment issue ? From what I can see all the gear teeth look good.

    B-Body 8.75 to '65 A

    I got a complete 8.75 from a 68 Coronet ( 55" flange to flange ). I know the perches and driveshaft will require work but am wondering how much hassle ( if at all feasible ) it will be to switch from 11" drums and bbp to 10" drums and sbp. Moser can do axles and extra backspacing would provide...

    7.25 Replacement

    I'm a total klutz/ditz trying to search out things. Must be the "old fart" and computer litrit thing. Anyway, is there a larger axle assemble that is basically a "bolt in" to replace the 7.25 in my 65 Dart ? I don't mind having to dicker with the driveshaft or larger BP ( have 5 on 4" ) but...

    Gear Vendor ?

    I'm going to be putting either 3.55 or 3.90 gears in my 7.25 and wonder if anyone likes one gear vendor over another or can suggest one. My internet time over the next few weeks will be severely limited so I'll say "thanks" now for any responses or recommendations.

    Check My Math ? PLZ

    Getting ready for the spring rebuild on 65 Dart which had 13" rims stock. Now has 14" rims. Based on my simple arithmitic I figure 3.90 gears will give me about what would be 3.6? gearing if it still had the 13" rims based upon distance traveled for each driveshaft revolution. Am I missing...

    Additional Trans Cooling Needed ?

    I've looked but cant' find specifics. This spring will be engine and trans rebuild time ( 65 Dart/273 4bbl/904 ). I have a 2000rpm converter and am wondering if I'll need extra trans cooling or if the stock in rad' is sufficient. I've always had manuals so am lost on autos. THX

    65 Dart Rear End Gears ?

    65 Dart Gt w/273/235 and 904 trans. It has 14" wheels and planning on rebuilding engine and trans. With the 14" wheels I'm thinking of going to 3.90 rear end. What think those knowing far more than I ? And where is a good place to find/order quality gears ? THX
