    What markings would I look for the ensure the 833 trans is the correct one for my car? What or how many numbers of the VIN are on the trans? What other markings are on the trans to identify it as for a 71 Duster?

    4 speed with no vin#??? Warranty?

    Did the factory warranty replacement 4 speed transmissions have the flat spot for the VIN present and just not have a number stamped or was there no flat spot on them at all? Did they use year correct trans when they replaced them?

    I found a 69 340 dart with a motor and 4 speed trans that have no VIN#s on them. I was told it was a dealer installed motor for warranty work. Did they do this? Could this be??

    How can you tell when a dana 60 was made? Can you tell from any outside numbers if it's a power lock? Need to verify if it's a true 67-70 B Body rear somehow. Help please. Thanks..

    I am getting different stories on 8 3/4's in A Bodies. Are they all 43" spring hangers or were the Dusters and Demons 44"? There is a guy selling a Duster Dana with 44" hangers he says came out of a Duster. I measured my old stashed Demon project car and it too measures 44" center to center...

    Dana 60 used in Ford the same??

    Is the Dana 60 rear end used in the Ford trucks the same as the A or B Body Dana 60? I found one with 8 lug axles. Can I just switch out axles and make it work?
