    Wall mount for my wrenches.

I got tired of always having to go to the other end of the shop to the tool box, so I hung a set by the bench.

    Alberta licence plate. 2dustrz

I saw a cool personalized plate in Calgary a couple days back. It was on a jeep so the owner is brand loyal, as long as you accept jeep being a Chrysler product! Anyway, the plate was 2dustrz. Some lucky person has a couple in the barn. I imagine they would likely be a member here.

Internet to end Dec 31, 2022

Due to lack of new topics being searched, the internet will be turned off at 11:59PM PST on December 31, 2022. (12:29AM Jan 1, 2023 in Newfoundland) The past couple years of people remaining at home much more has increased the search quantity, which has resulted in everybody knowing everything...

    The hunt.....

barbee made a thread about the hunt. I went on a trip yesterday not knowing exactly what was coming. There was a 383 listed for $100. It was sitting outside with no pan on a pallet. But it did have hp exhaust manifolds on it. 6 hours one way? No problem. So I drive up and meet a fellow. We look...

at this time I was pondering if it was too late to leave the country, I told Stacey this morning! We both laughed and I told her I was just kidding.......it was closer to 2pm when the ceremony was scheduled! She has put up with that type of stuff for long enough that I think I’ll just keep her...

    Thunder and snow in February

Just a little unusual. Snow yes. Even rain occasionally as we live in Chinook country. But I don’t think I’ve ever heard thunder in February running along with light snow fall! No lightning......yet. Southern Alberta. If you don’t like the weather, wait a minute. Ok, my daughter just informed...

As the eve of Christmas is upon us, I would like to wish all here a Merry Christmas. Starting with @Joeychgo , who makes this immense family we have possible. I had to make a puller

I’m doing the front brakes on my 78 Ramcharger. Of course it is still constant hubs and these are likely the factory rotors. I got going not realizing how they remove! Yup, not just your average pull em off and stuff em on job. No, you need a tool to remove the assembly from the axle and then...

I guess I’m a Saskatchewan Roughriders fan now.

I don’t watch sports, none, but my beer is now a supporter of the Roughriders. I’m good with that. They probably need all the help they can get right now. Go Riders go! (That's a Canadian football team for those who don't know!) :)

    What do you miss doing?

With this virus floating around, many of us are restricting our outings to the most necessary of requirements. I have been refraining from too much venturing, but that isn't really all the new for me. I often spend days without going anywhere. I love my shop! Anyway, one thing I do miss is...

There are many threads already about this new part of our world. I see many brush it off like a common cold. Many take it very seriously. Some are probably in full panic mode. It’s not very often I have saved the heater nipple off an intake manifold. But today I was able to spin this one out. I never knew there was a filtering screen in these!
