Finally got the barracuda outside to start body work and assemble
So far rebuilt rear end, front end and column - long way to go
my Camaro, my Dart and my Buick along with other assorted things I have had.
A picture of my first car, a 1966 dark blue Barracuda with dark blue interior. I bought it with my baby-sitting money when I was 16 from a racer that was retiring her (he later bought her back). I am the one sitting on the hood.
Bought it in early 71, (2nd owner) was the fastest car in the county for quite a while.

1967 Plymouth Barracuda Trans Am racing project. I plan to use a 340 smallblock, and destroke it to 303 CI. I plan to convert the car to a pistol grip 4 speed A-833. I have already installed an 8 3/4 rear axle with super stock leaf springs. I
This was a corn crib find over 2 years ago. Has come a long way. Almost finished. Runs very strong.
Finally got a chance to go thru the car and get it on the road.

Original Powertrain: 225 Slant Six, Automatic on the Column 3.23 rear end.
Exterior Painted Blue minus the door jambs/ inside trunk/engine compartment. Upgraded Power train to 340, 4-Speed with 3.55 Posi. (Sure Grip) added front sway...
1969 GTS 340 - 4spd, #'s matching, original Rochester, New York car, it moved to Canada in 1973. Same owner from 1973 to 1998.
I recently purchased from owner who bought it in 1998. When he bought it, he took it apart, replaced quarters, trunk floor, extensions, driver and passenger floors...
No professional just an avid car guy with make do tools and some cool friends
