My local Tractor Supply store put a batch of these '71 Duster 340 die casts for sale. Last year I missed out on a batch of the same models, only in Sassy Grass green. They remind me of the Johnny Lightning "magna" series of models from years ago. This time around, I bought one before they sold out. Has anyone seen models like this at their Tractor Supply store? Maybe other Mopar model die casts? Just wondering.

I bought this one in this color, and before that in blue. I got both mine at Fleet Farm.

dang it, why couldn't they have made those after a 70 duster, my real one is a 70 so that is close but not exactly

Our TSC ( Tractor Supply Co. ) has them here, I buy all my dog food there, love the place.
I will take another look but I think they are the same color

Sometimes truck stops sell models like these. Don't know if you have Love's Travel stop or Flying J truck stops in Canada, but they also occasionally stock model muscle cars, usually made by a company called Jada Toys. Often sold without the box, so little items like mirrors and wipers are often broken or missing!

Used to be a few Flying J, truck stops here. Don't know if there still around. I'll have to check it out.

I simply wish they were made as plastic model kits! ALTHO, I suppose you could use the body and interior to fit onto a model chassis....

NICE car even tho its Die-Cast!

Hood open? It looks as tho it might, as the doors seems to look as tho they open too!

Yep, doors and hood open. And I agree that if your kids were to find it, they would play with it like they would any average toy. They don't get that "For display only" stuff. :banghead:

Very Nice. They look different than the Johnny Lightening as the black paint doesn't follow the drip rail. These are 1:24 and one is 1:18

Our local Tractor Supply displays them the same damned way. Pisses me off. They cram them all up against each other on the shelf. So if you want one, make them get one from the back that ain't been took outta the box yet.

Ah Ha!!! You have what appears to be a very nice original dealership promo sassy grass '71 Duster with the Box!!! I collect dealer promos of the mopar muscle cars. I have the 71 sassy grass but I don't have the box.

I have a blue one, i've seen a black charger they have with cross bones on the hood, I don't get why under the hood on the dusters is black,,,

Same here, I want one but EVERY SINGLE car EVER SINGLE time I visit has some sort of damage. I might just take your suggestion.

Any one else hate that black skull and bones charger or is it just me?

Matt,
I'm not sure I've seen the Charger with the skulls and Bones on it......... from Tractor supply?

Hell, with the models, my only recent gripe is I wished the model companies that make these damned cars with HEMI's in them would offer at least 1 of 2 "Hemi" decals to go with the damned models...... the one that's on the oblonged air cleaner for the "Air Grabber" that has "HEMI" and "426" written inside the "H", OR the other air cleaner decal that has "426" HEMI HEAD "426" that curves around the air cleaner on the round 2 by 4 carb set up. the original "Street" chrome cleaner.....But I have yet to find one!

Hi Norton , There is one north of the 401 at the Liberty St exit in Bowmanville ON . if you can not find one in the Toronto area . Go north on Liberty then left at base line, threw the stop sign and its on your left . Good luck shopping, Bob
