10 Spline 489 case??

I was taking the case apart to toss in gears and a locker and come to find out its a 10spline. Or am I going nuts?? Will std 489 gears still work in it?

Already got a new 1350 yoke here. Just strange to see it 10 spline

It's not that uncommon, likely ya just haven't stumbled upon it before. No biggie

'69-'70 489 cases originally came with 10 spline yokes. '71-'74 489 cases came with 29 spline yokes.
