Whos running a 17x10" wheel? If so what backspace are you running and what is your rear width? Inquiring minds want to know

I have 17X11 with a 5.5 back space. My car is tubed and I did have the springs moved in. I now have a 4 bars rear suspenion.

i also have 17x11 with 4.25" backspace on a mini tubbed 70 dart, narrowed dana 60. 49 5/8" is the length.

I have 18x10s with 7.2 backspacing on a stock rear. Mini tub and spring relocated.

Anyone with leaf springs and a stock A rear?

18x8 with 4.5 BS with stock abody rear... Stock leafs location, no mini-tubs...

Tireis a 235/40/18 got about .75in outside, just shy of 2.0in inside to the spring...

If that helps,

Joe

What tire width are you running on your 18X10s? Got any close ups of your rear wheels? Would really like to see what they look like with the 7.2" bs.

335/30/18s which really need an 18x12 but hey they were a bargain and work fine.

That's exactly what I needed and that's also a good looking setup. There's definitely more lip on the back wheel than I thought there would be with 7.2" BS. I was look at running the FR500 replica wheels (17X10.5 rear) with +27mm offset, but from what I gathered, that makes the BS about 6.3 on those and don't think that's going to work with a stock rearend without shortening it about and inch on both sides. Although, not 100% sure on that. I want to run MT 315/35/17 ET II's, but I'm not sure if that wheel combo would look too small with the lower profile tires and I can't seem to find anyone whose installed those exact same wheels on a Dart. The 18's look like they defintely fit well. If I step up to the 18's, those same MT tires jump by $100 a piece. Maybe the extra $200 every tire change would be worth it?

Roll or trim your inner fender lip and they might work. If they were 17x10 and not 17x10.5 id almost guarentee they would. Mine are rolled and I have over an 1.5 of room from the outside lip of the wheel but about .75 from the tire which has about a 12" section.

How would 18x10 fit all the way around? or 17x9 and 17x10.5

18x10s in the front would be pushing it, probably hit the frame rail turning. 17x9s would have to have a small tire and not much backspacing to not hit the tierod, and then you're into the fenders, thats why I went with 18s.
