I have two big totes full of parts left over from my 52

I looked at the fender this morning and there's two sets of threaded holes. One set is 5/16 - 24 national fine and the others are 7/16 - 20 national fine.
I also remember the hood division strip mount up by the firewall is a national fine also.

I don't know what you have for stores where you live but Ag stores here sell hardware by the pound. I would use grade 5 unless you don't like the color. (usually blue) Those fasteners will work fine if you are not restoring the truck. A few different sizes, different lengths, and some flat washers and lock washers to match.

King, i don't know if you have changed your rear differential but i put a 89 jeep Cherokee rear under my 54 Town Panel project and it fit perfectly.

I used a 8-3/8 from a mid 80’s dodge 1/2 ton. Moves wheels out, but it looks less like a roller skate now. 3.55 gears with 265’s it spins at 2500 rpms at 60 mph.

I made cab mounts and used a 86 step side frame and bed has 8 3/4 rear and will accept big blocks. Fine threads are correct and 54 through 56 very much the same

Derrick,
I'd be interested in what kind of adaptations you had to do to get the wheelbase and body to line up.
Any pictures of the frame?
Maybe i need to PM you.
