Uli  It's been a long time for me to look at your work you have dun
You have this fish moving forward and looking great , love the emblems you made them look real nice 8)8) thank you for sharing this great Barracuda build with us :cheers:

Hello Uli,
I just found your thread on your car. All I can say is "WOW". I'm humbled by your dedication in bringing this poor car back to life. I spent four years in deutschland in the 1980s and LOVED every minute of it. (US Army - Nuremberg and Stuttgart areas). I thought you might like to see some pictures of my '65 "Formula S" I've been working on for several years. Chassis and motor are done, working on interior now and repaint last.

Keep up the great work. I'll be watching for more updates on your progress!

I haven't caught up in a while and must say I'm still impressed Uli! I LOVE the color -- very unusual and an eye-catcher for sure! The emblems and trim and just everything look awesome. Your work is an inspiration to us all.

Hi Uli, I have some old aluminum wheels from Western Wheel. Found them in the local salvage yard off a 4 door Diplomat for $60.00. They have the same dimensions as the steel cop car rims: 15 x7 with 4 1/4 inch backspacing. Tires are 225/60-15 front and 245/60-15 rear. I am also running an 8 1/4 rear out of a '74 four door Valiant. It was 3/4" narrower than the stock 7 1/4 and I had to install the Mopar offset shackle kit to allow enough room for the tire/wheel to clear the spring. I'm pretty sure I could have squeezed a 255 tire in back after getting everything put together.

Here are some pictures:

Great work Uli, that fish is going to be really sweet. Love the work on the emblems.

Sorry Uli battleship grey just doesnt look good on a Mopar. I have to disagree with the choice. Then again it is your car so do what you like.

Might look better if it was a two tone paint job, black and grey maybe?

Now on the other hand if you decide to mount a turret and gun at least it's already the correct color!

I kind of like the gray with blackout treatment. It's definitely out of the ordinary. The most trouble I have with my cars is picking a color that stands out from the standard (pick a high impact color) crowd. I say more power to you Uli! What color is your interior?

My interior should grey and black with red seams become.

rapom65 = It's definitely out of the ordinary= to agree with so.
