Worked on making the 73 dash a little longer to clear the 300 heater box. Added about an 1&1/2" to the top with a section from a scrounged a body dash. I will have to lengthen the sides also to finish it off nicely. Plus, the bottom mount has to move anyway.

Holy crap!!! Thread 5 pages back!!! I better get to work!! Site won't let me upload photos for some reason. I made the 300 accelerator pedal assy work in the Cuda. Had to modify the base a few degrees. Made a sheetmetal bracket to bolt to the floor and get the correct angle. Welded some stud to the firewall to mount it.
Also cut out the depressions in the dr side fenderwell and flushed it out so it has a smooth look instead of all the holes and dimples, etc.

Finally got to upload pics!!! Still have to do welding and grinding. It will look a lot better since I'm not using the battery tray any more. Going to get as much wiring as I can get hidden in fender wells.

Got some done on the rear bumper also! Made filler panel 1" lower for the dr side and the spear from the bumper to the wheel opening. Started the lic plate recess and made a filler panel for the pass side. :)

Do you plan to leave the panel (below the bumper) flat and or vertical? A radius or non-vertical angle might make the panel more aesthetically pleasing. It will be interesting to see how you blend the side panel to the rear panel....but I do like the direction you're going:thumbsup::thumbsup:

PS - "Slacker" (Back To The Future) was a harsh term...I prefer "Lazy bum"!!!! LOL

Still gonna have to make cutouts for the exhaust tips but have to install the exhaust to locate them. :D

Ah, how nice it is to see you back to work on this beauty again. Definitely my favorite project car of recent years, no doubt.

Please post a pic from the side so we can see the "flow" of the line that runs along the lower edge of the car from front to back. Best if the pic was taken about 12-14 inches off the ground, level with the line! That should be the money shot.
