The wife's Road Runner was in the shop for some minor work a couple weeks ago.

I replaced the non-operating horn button-steering hub assy for an aftermarket steering wheel with a new hub kit, along with some other stuff. It now has power steering, WOOO HOOO!!!!

So, I took a RR emblem from stock wheel and put it in the chrome aftermarket horn button.

70's style 3 spoke chrome with foam wheel. Neither of us like the skinny factory wheel. I will get pics of that at a later date altho, I think everybody here knows the kind of wheel I'm talking about.

OOOHHHH, There's the Cuda on the spit!!!!!!!!!!

You goin to Hastings this year?
Yep. Got some alignment tools for Christmas, so hoping I can get another tenth or two off the lap times. Hopefully finally have my power steering issue fixed as well. Replaced the fan motor and haven't seen any drips since, so with any luck I'll actually be able to run full sessions this year.

Awesome! I'll be there too. New car, cool suit, maybe containment seat. That stuff should help some...……. :)

Another new car? I remember the old green gen 2 with the black stripes and all the mods and the black with green stripes newer one you had last time. Did you replace that one?

I know I've said it before, I'll say it again: "I think I see light at the end of the tunnel." Hopefully get back on the Cuda in the next few weeks...………………………………...

LOL, I know...………….
Unless you're like me.....I have a bad habit of starting something and when I get close to finishing I start to lose interest. I enjoy the complex/difficult part of the job but the simple finishing touches are very annoying!!

Found this thread by searching for “flush mount windshield”. Got real bummed when I was getting closer and closer to the end of the thread and things weren’t progressing. I’ll be taggin along on this journey from now on. Looking forward to seeing more!

Yeah, SNKEBIT is another that's been missing for a while.

I'm here!!!! Really bummed about the car being on the back burner. Life gets in the way sometimes and trying to find time and room is damn near impossible. Almost have things tied up so I have room in shop to get back to it.

On a positive note, I have thought through some things I wasn't sure how to do. So, "finishing" this thing up should go fast.................. :poke::popcorn::rofl:

Glad you are well. Time to get back to work.
Have you heard from John 1967'cuda
Don't take so much time off next time.

I'm just glad I'm not the only one!

Of course, Snake has a LOT more going on with his than I do with mine.

It's funny to think how many of my "brand new" parts are already 7 years old and I haven't driven this car yet.

Still here. Working on S-I-L's challenger project and normal work. UGH! (normal work). Really itching to get back on the cuda bad......
Might just say "f#@&" the rest and finish body work on cuda.
Miss you guys............... :)

You've been on "DOUBLE SECRET PROBATION" since February for your absence and lack of work on FrankenCuda!!!!
