Still here. Had a sick dog lately, have to put down finally. Been my buddy for 13 years. Really sad. Today is the day the vet comes and does the deed. Not looking forward to this at all.............

Sorry to hear about your 4 legged buddy. It sucks it really does. I just held my ole girl last month as they put her to sleep. I cried like a baby over it. I still look around for her like shes still here. It sucks she used to be like a tail on me, followed me everywhere.

My vet didn't use a needle to the heart, just put it in his rear leg, in less than 30 seconds, he was gone. Painless. Hardest thing I had to do..........

It is amazing the bond, love that develops between man and his dog. And between our dog and us. It works both ways!!!
I stil get tears in my eyes thinking about my minature dashund I had to pt down almost 4 years ago. Red Dog.
I have had Red Dog #2 little over a year now. He is the greatest little dog. He is my bud.

Well, I know I'm going to get some **** for this, but, doing it anyway. :) I have another project that is in the works that I've been able to dabble a little with because it's not the "whole car in shop" yet.
Been a while, still trying to get the Cuda back in shop so I can work on it. Son in law has been working on the 70 Challenger and I've been helping when I can. Hopefully that project gets sent to the bodywork side soon so I can bring the Cuda back in!!!!
So, on to some pics. :)

As some of you astute Mopar guys have deduced, something is wrong with that engine. :) Well, I've had a 6-71 blower laying around my shop for about 10 years. Finally decided to do something with it. Have some "broken" 6.1 hemi's laying around so decided to build a blown hemi 70 dart. Since an engine doesn't take up much room, I have been able to putz a little on something of my own between all the customer stuff.

As you can see, those are old hemi covers. I had some laying around I got from my uncle when he moved. The covers on the gen 3 hemi look really bad. LOL So, the S-I-L came up with the idea of making them work on the gen 3 hemi. I scratched my head and came up with this idea. The old covers wouldn't fit down totally over the new covers so I made a spacer. It worked out well as it lifted the old cover enuff to give ample room for the gen 3 coils.

It is going to be fuel injected by factory hellcat injectors run by Holleys Exterminator ecm system. Have more pics will load later.

Feels good to be back on here even if it isn't progress on the Cuda.

OK, I am ready for the bashing. :)

Bravo! You've found a way to make a Gen 3 Hemi not look ugly. Absolutely love the look.

How are you sealing the spacers? Factory Gen 3 gaskets on the bottom, Gen 1 gaskets on the top?

The gen 3 cover is till on there, the old cover just fits over the top. I left the bottom open so it does trap a bunch of hot air in there.

Have to have knee replaced tomorrow so I will be out of commission for a couple weeks. More work piling up...................

Still checking in. Knee is slowly coming around. Tried some shop time and made knee swell up. Back to recouping.
Fuk, I hate getting old..................
