Guys I don't mean to just drop in and sell a car. It's obvious I am a Dodge Freak but I could not see this going to just anyone. The price is not set by me, It was a trade in at our dealership and appears to be supper clean. The owner is asking 11999 for the car. It does have the original bill of sale and that little plate that fits in the slot by the battery.

Dodge2500, all things considered, dont worry about it. For a first time poster you followed the rules and gave an apology up front that is a good excuse by me. So your post is approved. And with a nice car. Real nice.

OH, that card is called a certa-card.

Good luck with the sale.

That's what I thought. Anytime I see a real nice classic come through I always go to the Forum Guys first. I know what it's like to need or want something only to never know about it till it's too late.

Whats up with the price ? the dealer site says 25k you say 11,999

That's what the boss was asking until I did some price averaging and good guy discounting, I talked him in to the 12G range, I just said that If he wanted to hold onto it forever, then keep it at 25

No sweat. Let me take some.
This is a couple pics of the inside of the trunk also a pic of the gauges while the car was running and other stuff.

Just checked with him, and he is not looking to trade anything completely for the car. Also not to sure what the weld marks are in the trunk. I can take closer pics if anyone wants them.

To me the marks on the quarters look like where 68 model side markers were.

Any where I can take more pics to see if this is the case. It was painted in 2004 other than that I have no real knowledge of what may have been done to this car.

My post was responded to but I am the one who originally noticed the 68 quarters. No biggie.

kinda looks like factory undercoating on the inside of the quartrers though doesn't it? if they replaced the quarters odds are they would not have sprayed that stuff back on.

It could have been an older resto. They didn't always have those new 1/4 panels available. You used to have to cut them out of a "totaled" car that got hit in the front. Its scary to think how many good cars were cut up and parted out because of relatively minor damage in the 70's and early 80's. In 1979 these cars were worth very little. Even when the musclecar craze kicked in the the later 80s and 90s it started with 66-71 B bodies and 70-71 E bodies almost exclusively.
We personally parted out a 72 400 Roadrunner to fix up a 71 318 Sebring in 1982! At the time the 72 model was hardly worth anything but the Sebring was at least running and driving just needed front sheetmetal.

Maybe someone liked the looks of a 68 and installed the round lights. I found a 65 dodge factory 383 4-speed car and some one installed 68 markers in it.

I will post a link to the Ebay ad soon as I get it on. Good luck if you want it I have to set the reserve at 11000 for the boss, just so you know.:snakeman:

If that car was here in California, near me, i would buy it and pay w cold hard cash..............$100 dollar bills !!!!

Would your boss take 11k for the car and have it shipped to California? (11k) total

Dave

I called and offered 11k shipped for the car, they want 15k shipped for it (?)
I am assuming the extra charges are taxes, fees, etc...........oh well, i tried.

A member has put a deposit on vehicle and will be coming in from Florida to pick it up. Thank you all for your interest.

that's awsome. looks like he is getting a very nice car! i was putting alot of thought into it myself, but i have too many projects as it is. if it would have been a four speed it would have been a done deal!
