Going to the dyno for break-in and tuning in a week or 2.I've made that statement "getting closer, finally ordered the last of the parts" WAY too many times. LMAO
Famous final wordsI think I finally ordered last of the parts we needed
Can’t wait to hear and see it fire up for the first time.We have been successful finding everything we need. This was a great accomplishment itself. Some are waiting a year or more for hemi parts and build. It was only in April since the motor was pulled. I have been very fortunate and am thankful for all the help and support from here and the companies I have ordered parts from.
Don't forget to take us along. Video's are fun.
He's got a really nice place. I gotta get up there and see it.
Absolutely!Don't forget to take us along. Video's are fun.
Thanks! Yes Sir, I won’t be able to get the smile off my faceThe good stuff . I can’t even imagine what those first few drives will feel like. Built Hemi, built transmission and all the new parts…stoked!!!
Send it back, I thought Hemi had 8 bolt crank?Took some better pictures of all the trans parts.
We have a new 6 bolt 4.150.Send it back, I thought Hemi had 8 bolt crank?
No way we were reusing the old crank it was drilled too much for balancingSend it back, I thought Hemi had 8 bolt crank?
I assume the 4.88 gears are not 9310 pro gears? Pro gears will not last too long on the street.Jamie Passon, PASSON PERFORMANCE is also a big player in this build. I contacted him back in April after we pulled the engine and we started to discuss plans for the transmission. He took the time to talk to me and answer all my questions. I am very grateful for him helping me with this and getting everything completed. It did take a little longer waiting on the OD gear set, however I did not have another good option unless I wanted to change out the gears. The rear end is a Dana 60 with 4.88’s and I wanted to continue running them.
I don’t know exactly what they are. They have been in there for 50 years.I assume the 4.88 gears are not 9310 pro gears? Pro gears will not last too long on the street.
Sean, cleaned up the cross ram in the vapor hone cabinet. I think it looks outstanding.

Thanks. You and me both. He is going to record everything for me. I am not going down for the DynoThat looks awesome! I would love to have a wet blasting cabinet.
I am so excited for this engine to hit the dyno. It's going to be killer.
