We are starting on it Monday!! Driving down to NC on Sunday.......................I wouldn't change anything on that car other than mechanical parts like gaskets.
It's only a survivor once.

Yes Sir that is why I am going to do all 4 corners! The car changed a couple times while he was racing it.....................evident by the pictures from my MIL.
Thanks, it will look even better when it is rolling down the street under that Hemi power! That thing looks like a cool Hot Wheels with the green, black rims on front and Keystone rears.
What was the typical skinny front tire size? I will check the rears when we pull them and replace with similar size DOT race tire.
I am running a 155-80/R15 BF Goodrich on mine but that is pretty short. It helps with my fenderwell headers though. Many of the front runner tires are tall, they just didn't work for me.What was the typical skinny front tire size? LOL................there are parts and tools everywhere.I would treat that garage, and that basement as a archeological find! I would scour every square inch!
Thanks, I like the Hoosier I was looking at them last night.I am running a 155-80/R15 BF Goodrich on mine but that is pretty short. It helps with my fenderwell headers though. Many of the front runner tires are tall, they just didn't work for me.

i haven't driven it except a couple miles as i put them on right before the MCACN show in November (snow out). They are very sticky - I have a gravel driveway. Thanks, I like the Hoosier I was looking at them last night.
I have a gravel driveway also, it is over a 1/4 mile long. I guess I have to take that into account.i haven't driven it except a couple miles as i put them on right before the MCACN show in November (snow out). They are very sticky - I have a gravel driveway.
Or pave it and set up an 1/8 mile test track.I have a gravel driveway also, it is over a 1/4 mile long. I guess I have to take that into account.

Thanks, that is the plan...........great find , hope you keep it and hand it down as you got it . cool time machine .
The little foot emblem on the side of it looks so familiar, but it's just not coming to me
This has air shocks as wellwow those keystone classics and firestone 500's takes me back to high school . ahd the same setup on my 66 sat commando car , and flared fenders as well even with ss springs . funny thing they fit my buddies 70 gtx without flaring , just jacked up on the air shocks .
All locked up and my MIL has great neighbors watching out for her...............no worries there. I have a lot to go thru and it is going to take a while.Better make sure no one finishes cleaning out that garage before you get back there.
