I inherited this car from my dad who ordered it straight from the factory it has a 318 and a stick shift on the floor
Cannot find any information on 70 dusters that came with this package trying to determine its value and if it’s worth fixing up

Motor was replaced with another 318
Replaced gas tank
Carb not working
Body in good shape
The lime green was painted over with a dark metallic blue

Photos?

My 1970 Valiant 4-door is a 318 3-speed stick car.

Two doors

Rebuild the carb, replace the trunk lock, air up the tires, wash and vacuum it, and drive it! Looks good.

My niece had it and it sat for five years
It was in mint condition when she got it
She decided to paint it and on the way back from the paint job the fiberglass timing sprocket shredded and seize the motor.
Inside needs redoing completely and restore paint job
My Dad would like to see it restored but my wife wants it gone

LOL, ok the wife stays, but so does the car. That's a beauty. As said, repair what is needed, clean and drive. You don't see too many in that nice of shape. Especially where I am!

Original Sublime car? That is awesome with a 3 speed on the floor. That car should be restored the right way.

Actually, post a pic of the fender tag for us. Also, if you remove the back seat odds are good that your build sheet will still be there. Be careful with it as it will be delicate.

If u let that car go u will regret it for the rest of ur life. Fix it uip as u can and some day 1 of ur kids will inherit it as well as the memories

Dang.

It looks awesome.

It definitely has 'keeper' status.

Broadcast sheets in these may be found in the back seat as mentioned above, under the front seat in the springs & also taped to the back of the glove box insert.

Those are the easy areas to check.

They have also been found under the carpet & above the headliner.

If the car has never been searched before, you may find 3 to 5 sheets.

Was it built at Hamtramck or LA?

The car is worth maybe $5000 in my opinion. It costs money to restore these cars correctly. Either prepare to spend the money or sell the car.

Restore?

Get it running & driving.

Go see Dad & take him for a drive.

That would have more value than ANY money.

New money is printed every day, we only get one dad.

Also.......

Since he bought it new......

If the original selling dealership is still there, or at least its location & it is local to you, a photo of him with the car where he bought it would be epic.

From me to your dad, opting to pay $14.05 for the D13 option with the floor shift three speed was money VERY well spent.

Neat car.

IMO, 3K max with no rust and a blown engine. It's not a 340 car, so big numbers are not there.
