1971 Valiant Super Bee (Mexico) Proyect

-
Hi Dmargil, I check in on your progess once and a while. I was wondering about the engine colour thougth I was told they were painted gold? I found gold on mine under the blue but didn't find out until after I had it repainted blue and in the car that it should be gold! I'll try to attach a photo I have.
Also I noticed in a photo you have center cap in the old wheels with the Valiant symbol on them, do you have all 4 and do want to sell them? Mine have the dodge symbol they nice but not original. I'm also looking for the Valiant symbol for the hood if you ever see one, I'm very intersted.

Hi Zip0113, The engine color on the 70 ( as yours ) and 71 Mexican Super Bee´s were gold!! In 72 the color change to silver. 73 and after some were blues and blacks, depending the year.
So the color for the engine of your car is gold. No doubt !!

The center caps it will be dificult to find, but I will let you if I find something good in the market.

The only Valiant symbol that I know is one that the point over the i of Valiant is missing.

Regards.

I have a couple of question for you guys in Mexico, I hope you can help!!

First are these the right decals and are they placed correct, one on the drivers and passengers door and one on the trunk lid? I'm only guessing of what I can see on the brochure.

Second the brochuer shows the motor for 70 as red but everyone says they were gold.

Just a little confussed.

Hello zip0113,
The decals you are asking are not correct and didn't exist on The 70 Car, so you MUST take them away (driver, passanger and trunk lid. I am talking about The ons that say Super Bee and The Bee. All The long lines are correct), It must look like The Orange of The broucher you post on your last page.
The Engines were Gold.
What I Find out on our Mexicana broches are that Some of The pictures shown are incorrect compering on how The Cars were in The reality.
