Can't wait to follow this one! :) What part of Oregon you in? I'm around the Portland area.

About 300 miles east. Baker city, I am all ready started I will try to get picks up. Should pull the engine and tranny today. Know eany body that needs a good /6 and 3 speed. Has 89t oranginal miles on them

When I was a kid my dad bought a new '70 340 Duster in Hemi Orange. I loved riding around in that car!

The one i had in high school was stock and run 14.2 at 103.2 in the 1/4 . got in trouble drag racing off of track. I tried to out run cops, hung the speedo needle stright down. Had help in HIGH places to live through that one.

Had good progress yesterday pulled the engine, trans, driveline, fueltank all the wiring. Shop air compressor gave out, ordered new mag starter and presser switch. Will get restarted when parts show up

This is my 1970 parts (donor) car that i use to swap out parts from to build the one i have started in my shop.

Looking good. Keep at it, and keep posting pics!

The shop has been busy, so it took me away from the car so we took time out and built this.

Great start, excellent rotis. That "donor" car of your is in great shape.

Glad I could help with the grille, ought to be a cool ride when it's done...wish I could find "parts cars" as straight as the white car around here!

All the welders and plasma cutter are in our other shop about 400ft away from where we are now working on the duster. Easier to move the duster than pack all the tools back and fourth.

Cut out the rear panel and the left rear lower qtr. Got them welded up and welded in 4 speed hump.

Moved the spring mounts in line with the frame. Welded in the frame supports and got some clean up started on the bottom.

Well it was a long day but it was a good one. Got tied up waiting for parts in our AG shop so i took the day and built my 340 for the duster. Wanted the engine to stand out a little with engine bay painted hemi orange.
