1974 Chrysler Valiant Regal

What are your plans for it? Daily driver?

Plans are to yank out the slant for one. Its got either a sticky valve or a bad lifter and likes to run on 5 cylinders rather than 6. I'm not much of a slant guy anyways. I just picked up the magnum 360 that's going in it today. I will be putting it in along with a 904 and keeping the EFI. I have a nice cam and air gap intake from Hughes engines that will go on it along with their big mouth throttle body. She should run.

I plan on making it in to something that could be driven on a regular basis. It is such a trip to drive! I took my kids out for a ride last weekend and took them thru the Taco Bell drive thru. My son got a huge kick out of it. He got to place the order at the speaker and pay the lady at the window lol. The looks you get from people is priceless.

That's freaking awesome!

My Dad drove one of these for many a year. It was a VJ Ranger 265 Hemi not the Regal. It was metallic Brown and I remember it being a beautiful car. It used to be parked under my bedroom window and remember every morning the Chuuuurrrr Chuuuurrr of the starter when he fired it up to go to work.

I ended up with a Duster that is exactly the same Colour as my Dads old Ranger.

Nice purchase Enjoy!!!

 Glad it finally arrived & can't wait to see it in person. The rear window blinds & interior are pretty cool.

Don't forget to bring someone with you for the drive-up window at the bank LOL :)

Congrats on importing a 1 of a kind Mopar!!!

Here are a bunch of random pictures I have taken of the car. Just showing some of it's unique details.

The dash really reminds me of an E body. Especially the steering column.

Some pictures of the emblems. The formula S emblems throw me off. They are original to the car tho.

Thanks C! You will be seeing it quite a bit! It will definitely be attending MATS.

was there any conflict with general motors over the use of the "Regal" name? Or was this car first, before the Buick Regal- debuted 1973 I believe.
