I wasn't talking about u. You said you and Jaba like to walk to the drag way. I said without a motor in your car (meaning Jaba, your bet), you would walk to the strip :D :D

Not ignoring your question. I'm back to page 85 and I haven't found where I posted pictures of the first engine and the plan.

J Par you should have left that aluminum bracing aluminum. Don't care for the black look.

For me it looked a lot cleaner and more uniform. I do like the silver color but it had too much oxidation to really come out looking good. It may have looked okay in the pictures but when you were up on it it was very pitted. It would have took one crap ton of work to get it looking all brushed and new aluminum again. And I don't think a lot of work could have even done that. Also it wouldn't be hard to remove the paint...

Why are you trying to get me to race your son's new car? Does this have anything to do with you avoiding the inevitable loss handed to you by Jab?

lexan windows.…. now a lexan hood. Won't be long your carbs will weigh more than the body

When I put it back into street trim I put 74 doors with the big girders and glass windows back on. And also it's a aluminum Hood so far.. about half the weight of a pin on fiberglass Hood...

First day with no rain and I drove over 70 miles trying to find a c clip to finish this dog gone lawn mowers spindle. And still didn't find one. Now it's supposed to rain again tomorrow.

This weekend and all next week - - rain. I'm convinced, there will be no race due to RAIN !!!!
 
I've been slammed with a nasty virus/sickness anyways. Seriously, been a tough week for me :(

I'm joking I'm sticking with my original vote I may be end up being wrong but I am no band Wagoner!

I have been watching the weather and the midwest is getting hammered right now. I saw one video from Kansas that was unreal how close the chaser got to it.
